The Vine and Wine Museum illustrates, in its 17 exhibition rooms, the cultural dimensions of vineyards and wine in the Canton of Vaud, in Switzerland and in the neighbouring countries.
The Vine and Wine Museum was founded by the Confrérie du Guillon in 1971 with the primary intent of preserving the vaudois wine growers' heritage, which was tending to disappear. It is only natural that the tools, presses, barrel-making displays, stills, pitchers, barrels, measures, bottles, corks, cork screws, wine taster's cups, glasses and carafes tempt visitors to go right from the vines to the table.
Open from April to October.
